Sugar rock chair

Sugar rock chair made from gunmetal tubing and laminated wood.  I alway fall for high contrast pieces. And today I'm loving this contrasting combination of soft curve and hard metal.

Fauteuil Direction chair

Fauteuil Direction is a well designed chair in which you can sit comfortably at the table. I particularly loves the combination of materials like wood, black metal and white cushion. It's such a timeless modern.

Knit chairs and stools

I'm loving these knit chairs and stools by London based textile designer Claire Anne O'Brien. I particularly like that yellow chair in the back.

Daina chair

I'm loving this chair because combination of modern and vintage, minimal and maximal. Soft curves reminds me of old louis chair while straight legs are just clean and modern.

Doshi Levien, My Beautiful Backside

My Beautiful Backside is collection of seats designed by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. From the name sounds like there's a surprise in the back. But my favorite parts are in the front. The colorful pillows and mitch match cushions are so cute. I love how these look like they just thrown together.

Superleggera chair

Skinny and stylish...1957 'superleggera' chair designed by Gio Ponti for Cassina. This timeless design was inspired by the traditional chiavari chairs ponti had seen at the seaside, but so strong and light that a child could lift one up on a single finger.

Bamboo Stool

Bamboo stool found here
Bamboo is a popular choice of material these days, because of its high sustainability. Growing up in Asia it's hard for me to imagine that a typical thing like bamboo furniture could be this modern. This stool is simple yet well constructed. I don't know if they got inspiration from dim sum steamer or not, but this makes me hungry looking at it.

Hermann Czech chair | What I want now!

Hermann Czech chair $1,100 at Conran

Hermann Czech chair would fit right in any room in my house. Just like Thonet chair, this chair is just classic. Designed in 1994, the Hermann Czech chair represents modern day's warmth and comfort. The chair frame was steam bent from a single piece of wood. And they reminds me of my childhood favorite snack, Pocky. No need to explain why.
