Brands in Full Bloom
A series of mixed media illustrations by Daryl Feril. Very well designed, colorful. And totally illustrates the look and the feel of each brand. I can totally see these as editorial pages or advertising on fashion magazine.

"Stop one. Stop them all." Campaign
Clever ad for WWF, produced by Leo Burnett Australia. I especially like the pyramid design. It's very effective way to communicate the message.

Let's eat some kittens!
These ads are trying to say that these snacks are as sweet as these kittens and puppies. Forget the cookies, I want those kittens!

Laser cut nori
As a way to boost sushi sales after 2011 tsunami, Japanese nori (seaweed) manufacture has turned ordinary food in to a piece of art. Thank for the creatives at I&S BBDO who came up with bright design idea based on an element of japanese history or symbology, meant to bring beauty, good fortune, growth, happiness, and longevity. Oh it's so pretty and also edible! This is such a designer food.

Friday!
A couple of Shetland ponies in lovely cardigan sweaters for Visit Scotland commercial.
"Posing in their winter woollies, the ponies were marking the Year of Natural Scotland by sporting some rather plush knitwear that wouldn't seem out of place in any trendy city hangout," the site explains. "It's safe to say both Fivla and Vitamin didn't seem to mind all the attention their custom-made attire brought them."

Saul Bass Pitch Video for Bell System Logo Redesign
A film from AT&T archives. This film was made by his company as a presentation to AT&T executives. It would have extended to be shown to the public, but a number of his ideas in the film were not ultimately adopted, like his phone booth designs, and men's and women's uniforms. But a great many were—including, most memorably, the telephone vans and hardhat designs of the 1970s. He designed down to the details, showcasing in this film a myriad of ideas, right down to the yellow pages book designs, cufflinks for executives, and flags.
Bass' other very recognizable logo designs that persist today include those for Minolta, Girl Scouts of America, Avery International, Geffen Records, Warner Int'l, and many more. Bass' design for AT&T was the foundation for the logo that the company has today, redesigned in 2005 by Interbrand.

Issey Miyake ad
Very clever ad for Pleats Please collections by Issey Miyake. The collections were first launched in 1993. The garments made from Individual pieces of fabric are hand-fed into a heat press sandwiched between two sheets of paper. Then the garment emerges with permanent pleats.
