I came across this nice website from Bloomingville. They make great products, from furniture, kitchen wears to women's accessories. Love the warm vintage vibe!

Kamagasaki: Japan's slum

Kamagasaki: Japan's slum
photo by photographer of the year ,Androniki Christodoulou, from FCCT
Kamagasaki is know as Japan's largest slum. It looks so clean. I wouldn't be able to tell if this was a slum. Some 30,000 people are estimate to live within a 2,000 metre radius in the region.

Ever wondered what would you do when you have too many books? The answer is here...jump right on the couch and take a picture like Karl Lagerfeld!! Gotta be prepare ya know. Looking at these pictures just worries me, except I don't really have that many books.  I do need to find space for my new arriving books though. Because my brother has just sent me boxes of design books I have left at his place ages ago.

Jo Longhurst's photographs of whippets, Twelve Dogs, Twelve Bitches. These dogs have the cutest face. They look at you like they are being guilty of something...(hopefully not pooping in my bed)

Garden furniture | What I want now!

It's spring again and it's time when I'm obsessed about garden furniture again! I bought a couple vintage chairs that I put out side my patio. Now they both become deteriorate as time goes by. I really need to get a new set of seats. I came across this lovely site, gardenhousedecor. Love love love the colorful furniture.

Fantastic Planet (La Planète Sauvage) 1973

This animation is one of my all time favorite. And the best animation of all time in my opinion. The landscape of the Draag planet is so surreal and dreamlike. I love this animation! LOVE!

“The film depicts a future in which human beings, known as "Oms" (a word play on the French-language word hommes, meaning men), have been brought by the giant Draags to the Draags' home planet, where they are kept as pets (with collars). The Draags are an alien race which is humanoid in shape but a hundred times larger than humans, with blue skin, fan-like earlobes and huge, protruding red eyes. The Draags also live much longer than human beings – one Draag week equals a human year. Some Oms are domesticated as pets, but others run wild, and are periodically exterminated. The Draags' treatment of the Oms is ironically contrasted with their high level of technological and spiritual development.”
